I love Harris County.  We are vibrant!  Having lived in Houston most of my life, I appreciate our strengths. I want the best for every single person who lives here.

SAFETY FIRST!

In the last few years, I have seen some changes that concern me.  I am running for the 315th District Court because I want Harris County to be safe - safe for children and safe for the community.  I have the experience, both professionally and personally, to serve the citizens of Harris County as the judge of the 315th District Court.

315TH DISTRICT COURT

The 315th District Court serves Harris County as a Juvenile District Court.  The court hears cases that involve the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS or CPS), and cases involving children on the juvenile delinquency docket.

WHY I'M RUNNING

I am the mother of four beautiful children who are each serving their communities in an impactful manner.  I want the children who pass through this court to have the same opportunity to become successful adults. 

MY PHILOSOPHY

I believe in family.  The family is the most basic unit of society.  When families work well, they provide children with the best outcomes.  Sadly, some families struggle.  It is the responsibility of the court to give these families a chance to improve their parenting skills so that they can provide a safe and stable environment for their children.  If that is not possible, I am willing to keep children safe by finding homes that can provide the stability and nurturing they need.

I believe in children.  Children are our future.  Children who make mistakes should have the opportunity to learn from their mistakes.  Learning happens when actions have consequences. Each person in our community deserves safety in their person and their property.  The court ensures safety by emphasizing accountability and responsibility for children who break the law.
